Duncan Lu is a first generation Vietnamese-Australian cook inspired by the traditions of Vietnamese home cooking. Growing up in a migrant family of home cooks and chefs he came to realise the immense power of food as a vehicle to connect and communicate.

Duncan competed as one half of Team Vietnam on Channel 7’s cooking show, Plate of Origin, where they fought on to be runner-up, scoring perfect 10s on their grand final main.
